Eligibility

  • Students who have passed their Class XII examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized board or university or its equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% in Class XII in addition to clearing Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with minimum passing marks 33% ( in theory) are eligible to apply for SAME’s 2-year CAR 147 BASIC program.
    Students who have appeared for the Class XII examination will be considered as provisionally eligible subject to having minimum 60% marks in their Class X examination and submission of their Class XII result before the commencement of the new session.
  • In order to be eligible the student must also be medically-fit and should not suffer from color blindness and/or night blindness.
  • Foreign students need to obtain security clearance through DGCA for admission to the course.


APPLICATION PROCESS


On-line

Students seeking admission into SAME can submit the application form online through our website by following the steps below:-:-

  • Step 1: Register on apply.igesame.com (To register click here)
  • Step 2: Log in to fill the complete application form
  • Step 3: Submit Rs 500/- application form fees through the payment gateway


Off-line

To apply off-line the students can download the Application Form from the website or they can also collect the same from SAME campus.

Completed application forms should be submitted at SAME premises along with a demand draft of Rs.1000/- towards application fees drawn in favor of "School for Aircraft Maintenance Engineering" on any working day between 10 am - 4 pm.


Selection

SAME require eligible students to undergo a ‘Selection Process’ consisting of an Entrance Test comprising of a written test (MCQ & Essay type) and an interview.
Students need to come to School for Aircraft Maintenance Engineering campus located at Greater Noida, Knowledge Park -III on the date & time mentioned in the admit card.
Successful candidates will be advised about their result on the date of the Entrance Test.

*Note: The fee for AMO training is not included in above mentioned fee as the students have a choice to select the AMO training facility.


ADMISSION FORMALITIES

Classes for all Semesters will start in mid-July. Students who have been selected and offered admission must ensure that they complete their admission formalities prior to that time.

Selected students are required to pay the Admission Fee of Rs 50,000 within 7 working days of selction into the program. Further the student are required to complete other admission formalities 15 days prior to the commencement of the session.

Admission Formalities include:

  • Submission of Class X pass mark sheets & certificates, XII / Inter (PCM) pass mark-sheets / certificates in original along with two attested copies.
  • Submission of medical fitness and eye-fitness certificates.
  • Signing of undertakings regarding the code of conduct and discipline.
  • Date of birth certificate.
  • Six passport size photographs.
  • Submission of the copy of the passport.
  • Embassy clearance certificate for NRI students.

BOOKS AND UNIFORM

The wearing of uniforms is compulsory. Purchase of a set of text-books is also compulsory. The estimated cost of uniforms is Rs. 5,000/- annually and of books is Rs. 15000/- for the entire course.


HOSTELS

SAME does not offer hostel accommodation on its premises. However, there are several private hostels in Knowledge Park III which provide hostel accommodation and meals to students of various Universities and Colleges located in the Knowledge Park III area.

This hostel arrangement/ agreement between the student and the Hostel is solely between the student/parent/guardian and the Hostel. SAME is not a party to this arrangement and is not responsible to the student/parent/guardian with respect to any aspect of the Hostel facilities. It may be emphasized that the student is free to choose any hostel or make his/ her own arrangements for stay.


ZERO TOLERANCE

SAME strictly observes a zero tolerance policy towards alcohol consumption, drug abuse, bullying, ragging, discrimination, indiscipline, misbehavior, indecent behavior and disrespect towards any SAME personnel and damage to SAME property. Any violations will be viewed strictly and may result in the summary expulsion of the student.

Students will be required to sign an undertaking with respect to conduct and discipline at the time of admission.
